What We Do

Davis Truck Service is a short haul motor carrier, specializing in local cartage, dray services, trailer shuttles, automotive expediting, and general short haul freight services. In addition we also provide power assistance to customers in need.

Our primary lane of operation is along I-70 between Kansas City and St. Louis. As a result, our drivers enjoy the best home time of any regional carrier on the road, getting our drivers home weekly and throughout the week and home every weekend (48 hrs+)!

We are a family owned, family friendly company only interested in hiring the safest, most professional drivers on the road! Our drivers are treated like family not a truck number!

DTS is very selective in our hiring of drivers. We do not hire drivers with histories of changing jobs frequently or who have had safety related issues! DTS has an excellent safety rating with the USDOT and we work very hard to maintain that status. Our drivers matter to us and the right ones are worth waiting for!

At DTS, when it comes to our drivers, customers, associates, etc... "It's all about relationships"!

Our equipment is spec'd with the driver in mind. We operate well maintained, assigned, late model Kenworth's, equipped with Ultrashift Transmissions, in-cab 5th wheel release, refrigerators, APU's, power inverters and much more.. . Our van fleet consists of well maintained 53' van trailers with easy slide tandems.

DTS also offers trans-load and transportation warehousing services around the KC area.
